Longline Kit FLY LINE 50 - A Longline to test your game!
The journey begins now
Easy to set-up alone and to fast start your training of walking longer lines. Thanks to the double ratchets you can get this set-up to a pretty good tension for a line of up to 45m. The spacers are removable and allow you to use this kit also with our other lines of 50 mm.
Your first professional 50 m Longline Kit
As our longest, all inclusive Longline kit, it includes:
Use ratchets or a primitive system for a 50 m Longline?
If its your first Longline, we suggest to go with our FLY LINE 50 ratchets system. The primitive is good for a second level of difficulty and longer lines than 50 m. As soon as you can manage to ride the 50 m FLY, you can use a more dynamic and longer webbing like our ZAO or JOKER, in order to make your training harder.
Please read the instruction manual in order to operate the two ratchets properly!
Can I convert my Kit FLY 50 to a Primitive System?
Sure you can! A primitive system is a bit less effective than ratchets, but its way lighter gear and still easy to use. The missing products to complete the PRIMITIVE FLY 50 are: 1 CHAINLOCK RING plus 4 CARABINERS, and on the other side you can still use the small ratchet with spacers from the FLY LINE 50.
Can I use a 80 m Longline with my FLY LINE 50?
The limit of a ratchet is the number of webbing rotation it can achieve on the ratchet roll. So its use is limited at a specific tension a long line like 80m would need. This means you could tension 80 m with the LONGLINE KIT - MINI DOUBLE, but you would require a minimum of around 2 m height from the ground, or a sunken area in the middle of your slackground, to keep the height of your line at the anchor a bit lower than that.
