DURA LA VIDA loop for your back-up split
Our DURA LA VIDA system allows you to connect the back-up line to the main line at different points along the whole slackline length.
This loop has been designed to reduce the total fall height of a potential back up fall and reduces therefore the shock load on the human body and set-up. It is an alternative to our SLACK INOV SPLIT technology, we do recommend you to check attentively the advantages and disadventages of both technologies before making your choice of purchase.
This precaution (split safety-system) is mandatory for slacklines longer than 100 m, especially in case of using webbing as back-up (and not a static rope).
Compatibility and position
The DURA LA VIDA is compatible with all OVAL QUICK LINKS larger than 8mm. If you choose the JUMBO cover as protective sleeve, you are able to connect even 5mm diameter soft shackles.
We suggest to choose the quantity of DURA LA VIDA loops based on your total slackline length:
DURA LA VIDA every 25 meters on a line < 100 m;
DURA LA VIDA every 50 meters on a line > 100 m.
