The detailed data has been obtained from laboratory tests under optimal working conditions. In real use conditions, various external factors may vary concerning the resistance of the connector. For example, if the anchors are not aligned with the stated working direction of the shackle, or external surfaces get in contact during movement, all these real use conditions can interfere with the system.
Don’t hesitate to ask for advice from a slackline rigging technician, in order to avoid the incorrect use of the device or product.
