Quick links connectors
The quicklink is cheaper and smaller than a carabiner and for the same size it is more resistant, but at the same time it is less handy to use. The quicklinks are therefore a perfect connector for anything that must remain in a permanent closed position, in contrast to the carabiners that are repeatedly opened and closed.
The quick links are made of steel and have galvanized treatment on the surface to prevent corrosion and oxidation when they stay in humid environments. In case of marine environments it is necessary to choose the stainless steel quick link with carbon treatment.

Oval quick links
They are designed to work in linear load, and also comes in a twisted quick link version to connect elements rotated by 90°. They are an excellent connector inside a pulley systema or for setting up a highline.
The frequent uses with oval quick links are: connect the static rope with a knot to the fixed part of the pulley system; connect the pulley to an anchor plate; connect a static rope to the highline rock anchor plates; connect the backup of a highline to the split sewn end points (T-LOOP o FRACTIO SEWING); connect the sewn hole of a highline.
Delta quick link
Delta quick links are not suitable for tri-directional loading, but the flat side is used to work with wide textile connectors such as ROUND SLING SPANSET.
The frequent uses with delta quick links are: connect the round sling spanset to the anchor plate or pulley; connect the round sling spanset to the rock anchor plates for highline.
Always closed the quick links before use
If you don't, they may bend quickly when goes under tension. For a permanent safety lock they must be closed with a wrench or better glued with loctite. For use as a semi-permanent connector, the pressure of the fingers when closing is sufficient.
When you have finished using it, we recommend that you keep the screw nut of the quiklinks closed even when at rest. In fact, if not used for a long period of time, with exposure to open air, dust or atmospheric agents, the nut could stuck and remain blocked.
